Amentum is seeking a Mission Integration Specialist / Joint Fires Targeting Specialist to support the Joint Interagency Task Force – Counter Cartel (JIATF-CC) at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City, Mexico. JIATF-CC operates under U.S. Northern Command (USNORTHCOM) to enhance intelligence, surveillance, and operational coordination in counter-cartel and counter-transnational criminal organization missions. In this role, you will deliver actionable intelligence, ISR tactical support, and facilitate interagency collaboration to directly impact national security. Join our team and play a critical part in securing the southern border and disrupting transnational threats.

Primary duties include:

  • Assist in the coordination of the JIATF-CC targeting process to develop targeting products. 
  • Coordinate, maintain, and disseminate a list of joint targets and de-conflict operations. 
  • Provide joint targeting expertise in strategic and operational planning and execution. 
  • Support Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) to develop lethal and non-lethal targeting options. 
  • Prepare and deliver targeting-specific Joint Operational Planning Process (JOPP) products and oral presentations. 
  • Develop correspondence and documentation (e.g., position papers, ports, briefings) supporting the targeting process. 
  • Manage and leverage classified information, materials, and databases 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI Eligibility (TS SCI). Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret clearance 
  • Bachelor’s degree from a college or university accredited by and accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience and capabilities for the  successful execution of tasks associated with specific duty positions/focus areas. 
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Special Operations targeting.  
  • Experience in managing a targeting cycle, and joint fires planning, to achieve lethal and non-lethal effects. 
  • Experience in conducting strategic and operational planning. 
  • Extensive knowledge of intelligence tools on JWICS used for target development.
  • Must be available to work all shifts to include Night Shift and Weekend Shifts.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed.
