About this role

Leidos’ Defense Systems Mechanical Design & Analysis Department is seeking a Mobile Radar Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Huntsville Alabama designing the next generation of sensors to protect America and its allies. You will perform mechanical design of the Army Long-range Persistent Surveillance-Mobile (ALPS-M) product.

As a member of the design team, you will use SolidWorks CAD software and Windchill PLM software daily to turn ideas into designs. Then you’ll work alongside the production team to turn your designs into hardware. This is not your average engineering position. You will work on a team of the most talented engineers in the region who push you to be better every day. This is a fast-paced program with unique technical challenges that will be a rewarding milestone in any engineering career.
