About the Role

The Partner Enablement Engineer helps MSP partners turn Microsoft-based technology into scalable, profitable managed services. You sit between the partner's operational reality, the Microsoft technical foundation, and the AvePoint Elements value story, guiding partners to standardize delivery across many customer tenants, reduce operational overhead, improve security posture, and build repeatable service offerings around Intune, Azure, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.

We're looking for someone with hands-on experience designing, managing, securing, and scaling Microsoft 365 environments, with particular expertise in Entra ID, Intune, and Azure, ideally gained within an MSP. This is not a traditional consulting role. Rather than advising from the sidelines, you'll work directly with our partners to help them operationalize, standardize, and scale their managed services, ensuring technology is successfully adopted and embedded into their day-to-day operations.

This role is post-sale. It lives where partner adoption either scales or stalls: after the commercial decision and before the partner is fully operational on Elements as the backbone of their managed services. Your success is measured by partner onboarding, adoption, enablement, and long-term success on the AvePoint platform.

Responsibilities

The Partner Enablement Engineer supports MSP partners after sale by helping them adopt and operationalize AvePoint Elements alongside Microsoft cloud technologies. The role combines technical expertise, MSP business understanding, and strong partner-facing communication skills. You will help partners standardize delivery across tenants, improve operational efficiency, strengthen security, and build scalable managed service offerings.

  • Lead onboarding and enablement engagements for new MSP partners adopting AvePoint Elements.
  • Help MSP partners define and mature service offerings around Intune, Azure, user and device management, lifecycle management, and multi-tenant governance.
  • Translate partner operational challenges into practical technical and business recommendations.
  • Run discovery, onboarding, training, and enablement sessions with partner stakeholders across technical, commercial, and service delivery teams.
  • Guide partners from project-based delivery toward repeatable managed service models.
  • Identify adoption blockers and work cross-functionally with Solution Engineering, Product, Partner Success, and Partner Sales teams to resolve them.
  • Support the development of scalable partner playbooks, onboarding frameworks, service templates, and best practices.
  • Demonstrate how AvePoint Elements complements Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID in multi-tenant MSP environments.
  • Deliver workshops, technical training sessions, and enablement programs to increase partner capability and self-sufficiency.
  • Capture partner feedback and provide input into product development, enablement content, and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to partner organizations throughout their onboarding and growth journey.

OK, I'm interested... is this the job for me?

We look for people who value agility, passion, and teamwork; those who can bring fresh ideas to the table and want the opportunity to learn, grow, and expand their careers. Bring your aptitude and build upon what you do best for our customers, partners, team, and you.

What you will bring to our team:

  • Hands-on experience within an MSP, ideally as a Modern Workplace Consultant, Cloud Consultant, Systems Engineer, Technical Consultant, Project Engineer, or Technical Project Manager.
  • Strong practical knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, Azure Cloud, and Microsoft 365.
  • Multi-tenant mindset: comfortable supporting repeatable services across many customer tenants rather than a single enterprise environment.
  • Strong understanding of MSP business models, managed services operations, recurring revenue, service standardization, and scalable service delivery.
  • Ability to think in service offerings rather than individual products or features.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to tailor technical and business value messages to service desk leads, technical teams, MSP owners, and commercial stakeholders.
  • Partner empathy: understands varying levels of technical maturity and helps organisations adopt new ways of working through practical, achievable steps.
  • Experience leading workshops, onboarding sessions, technical training, or enablement programs.
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and driving best practices through technical credibility and trusted advisor relationships.
  • Passion for knowledge sharing, coaching, mentoring, and helping partner teams become self-sufficient.
  • Fluency in Dutch and English.

Knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

  • Microsoft certifications in Intune, Azure, or Entra ID (we'll support you in growing these further).
  • Ambition to work toward Microsoft MVP status.
  • Prior exposure to AvePoint or Microsoft 365 governance solutions.
  • Familiarity with Azure Security Management, including monitoring, backup, misconfiguration detection, and posture optimization.
  • Experience designing and delivering technical bootcamps, partner training programs, or enablement frameworks.
  • Previous experience in partner enablement, technical customer success, channel engineering, or partner-facing technical roles at a software vendor.
