As the FinOps Center of Excellence at the BMW Group, we own the FinOps strategy and support its decentralized implementation across the company. With the topics FinOps for AI, Tokenomics, and the economic management of AI services, we continuously develop our service portfolio. As part of your internship, you support us with organizational and technical tasks in the FinOps environment and gain exciting insights into the future of cost management, FinOps governance, and technology enablement.
What awaits you?
- You support the FinOps Center of Excellence in advancing the topics FinOps for Cloud and AI, Tokenomics, and AI Cost Transparency.
- Furthermore, you help create and prepare reports, analyses, presentations, and communication materials for various stakeholders.
- In addition, you support the planning, organization, and execution of workshops, community events, trainings, and communication campaigns.
- Moreover, you help maintain and further develop our knowledge base, documentation, best practices, and enablement materials.
- Furthermore, you help analyze usage and cost data in the cloud and AI environment.
- In addition, you closely engage with our international team of FinOps experts and receive comprehensive onboarding into all relevant topics.
What should you bring along?
- Studies in business informatics, computer science, economics, data science or a comparable field.
- Interest in the topics FinOps, cloud, artificial intelligence as well as cost management and digitalization.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, Python, Java, HTML or other scripting languages as well as public cloud (AWS and Azure) is desirable.
- Strong communication skills as well as enthusiasm for community engagement, knowledge sharing, and collaboration in interdisciplinary teams.
- Initial experience in data analysis as well as with Excel, Amazon QuickSight or comparable tools is an advantage.
- Proactive, structured, and reliable approach.
- Very good German and English skills, written and spoken.
