Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Network Administrator with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in designing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise network infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in network administration, troubleshooting, security, and performance optimization while ensuring high availability and reliability across the organization's IT environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and enterprise network infrastructure.
- Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and network security appliances.
- Monitor network performance, availability, and bandwidth utilization to ensure maximum uptime.
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity, hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
- Implement and maintain network security policies, firewall rules, ACLs, and VPN connectivity.
- Perform regular network upgrades, firmware updates, and patch management.
- Configure and maintain DNS, DHCP, VLANs, NAT, and IP addressing schemes.
- Collaborate with system administrators and IT teams to support infrastructure projects and deployments.
- Perform network backups, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity activities.
- Maintain accurate network documentation, topology diagrams, asset inventory, and configuration
- records.
- Provide technical support and resolve network-related incidents within defined SLAs.
- Assist in capacity planning and recommend infrastructure improvements for scalability and reliability.
Required Skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI Model, Routing, Switching, and Subnetting.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, HP/Aruba, or similar networking devices.
- Experience with OSPF, BGP, STP, RIP, VLANs, VPNs, NAT, and firewall administration.
- Proficiency in DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, and wireless networking.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Wireshark, Nagios, or Zabbix.
- Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, and cloud networking
- (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, Fortinet NSE, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are
- preferred.
