You will work alongside experienced engineers to develop advanced processes, solve complex manufacturing challenges, and support the production of technologies that power everything from artificial intelligence to next-generation computing systems.
As a Dry Etch Process Engineer, you will contribute to the development, optimization, and sustainment of semiconductor manufacturing processes. You will gain hands-on experience in a brand new fabrication environment, working with multi-functional teams to improve yield, quality, reliability, and productivity. Responsibilities

  • Support the development and optimization of dry etch processes to improve product performance, yield, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Analyze process and manufacturing data to identify trends, solve issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with process integration, equipment, manufacturing, and quality teams to support production goals and process improvements.
  • Participate in process qualifications, experiments, and continuous improvement projects using statistical and engineering methodologies.
  • Apply data analytics and explore AI-Assisted and Agentic AI workflows to enhance process monitoring, engineering productivity, and decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM field.
  • Graduating by start date or graduated within the last 24 months.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, materials science, process engineering, or related technical fields through coursework, research, internships, or co-op experience.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills through academic projects, internships, laboratory work, or research activities.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information and collaborate within a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship, co-op, research, or laboratory experience in semiconductor manufacturing, microelectronics, nanotechnology, materials processing, plasma systems, or related technologies.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis, SPC, experimental design, or data visualization techniques.
  • Experience with programming, scripting, or data analysis tools such as Python, JMP, MATLAB, SQL, or similar platforms.
  • Experience applying AI, Generative AI, or AI-Assisted tools to support engineering, research, or data analysis projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership through student organizations, research teams, design competitions, or project-based coursework.
