  • 3, 12-hour night shifts per week
  • Holiday/Weekend rotation
  • A sign-on bonus is available to applicants who have not received a sign-on bonus from the company for another role within the past 24 months.

Pay Range:

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work:

9A is a vibrant 24-bed neurological telemetry unit specializing in adult and geriatric inpatient care. As the designated Comprehensive Stroke Care Unit by The Joint Commission, 9A stands at the forefront of cutting-edge stroke management and neuro care.

Our patient population includes those with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, transient ischemic attacks, encephalopathy, and other complex neurological conditions. This diversity offers nurses the opportunity to deepen their clinical expertise and sharpen their critical thinking skills every day.

On 9A, nurses are empowered to master advanced clinical skills such as: Central line dressing changes, Foley catheter management, Dobhoff tube placement and care, Tracheostomy care, IV therapy and more.

We’re Looking For:

  • Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
  • Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

About This Location:

Atrium Health’s Carolinas Medical Center (CMC) is the flagship hospital of Atrium Health in Charlotte NC, distinguished throughout the Southeastern United States for its excellent patient care and medical expertise. CMC serves as the region’s only Level 1 Trauma center, is Magnet-designated, and an approved transplant center for heart, kidney, pancreas and liver.
