NURSE PRACTITIONER IV FULL TIME-CARDIOLOGY PRACTICE-Latrobe, Mt Pleasant, Connellsville

$15,000 SIGNING BONUS with a 2 year employment commitment . The Nurse Practitioner in cardiology will rotate between hospital coverage and office schedule. Hospital responsibilities include rounding on new consults, follow up and discharges. A physician is assigned to the hospital to cover / support the APP. In the office, the individual will assist the physician AND have their own panel of patients. Routine work schedule is Monday – Friday with weekend call (Saturday – Sunday) obligation rotated among the other APP’s in the department. The Nurse Practitioner evaluates, examines, diagnoses, and treats patients, in collaboration with an attending physician, according to established protocols, while maintaining and promoting the wellbeing of the individual.
