What will you be doing?
Play a pivotal role in ensuring the Hamburg location operates smoothly, safely, and efficiently.
Act as the local subject matter expert for all facilities related topics, reporting to the Regional Director Corporate Facilities.
Balance strategic leadership with hands on operational delivery.
Partner with senior stakeholders to align facilities strategy with business needs.
Lead and coordinate service providers and contractors to ensure effective service delivery.
Oversee projects that support new ways of working and workplace improvements.
Work closely with Health, Safety and Environment teams to ensure compliance with legislation and company standards.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve service quality, sustainability, and the employee experience.
Serve as the primary point of contact for the Hamburg site on all facilities related matters, including: Footprint changes, Security, Business Continuity Plans (BCP), Business Services, Strategic direction for design, construction, standards, and maintenance of sites within scope
Manage and deliver facilities services through e.g. Local facilities team management, Contractors, Service providers, Ongoing stakeholder communication
Focus on delivering high quality facilities services that support business operations and enable the core business to succeed.
What will you need to be successful?
Relevant education like e.g. Business, Facilities, Engineering
Minimum of 3 years experience in facility management, office management and/or HSE management
Proven experience in facilities/office management and/or workplace project management within a corporate environment
Confidence to engage senior stakeholders and manage relationshsips with landlords and external service providers
Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations, building services and compliance driven environments
Ability to balance day to day operational demands with longer term strategic objectives and projects
Excellent communication, problem solving, analytical and stakeholder management skills, combined with a collaborative leadership style
Very good knowledge in using IT Systems, e.g. MS Office and other corporate tools
Very good German and good English language skills (written and spoken)
Preferred:
German Facility Management (FM) certificate obtained IFMA CFM, Fachwirt in Facility Management GEFMA, or equivalent
Knowledge of ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety standard

The anticipated base compensation range for this position is €75,000 – €112,500 EUR annually.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on objective, job related factors including (but not limited to) relevant skills, qualifications and experience, scope and responsibilities of the role, geographic location and internal equity considerations. Compensation decisions are made using consistent and gender neutral criteria, in line with applicable pay transparency laws. This role has been evaluated within our internal job architecture and mapped to a defined pay band to ensure consistency and fairness.
