Offline Utility Relief | Day Shift

This position is Monday - Friday 7am-3pm.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:  Responsible for assisting with filling in for absent employees, relieving employees for breaks, and handling sew on waste. 

I. Essential Duties: 

• Give breaks in finishing and fill in for absent employees on Coater, Reshear 

• Weigh and record sew on waste  

• Assist in keeping department in a clean, orderly manner

• Frequently required to reach, handle, stand, stoop 

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs occasionally. 

• Work in a normal industrial environment with inherent background noise, dirt, humidity, and temperature variations 

• Must participate in group stretching prior to shift

• Must be applicable to all JHA’s 

VII. Training Requirements: 

• Power Industrial Truck (PIT) 

VIII. Tools, Equipment & Material Requirements: 

• Use appropriate tools for job depending which operator is being relieved for breaks or absence. 

• Pole Hyster 

• Fork Hyster 

• Turkey Knife 

• Cutting Glove 

• Dennison Gun 

IX. Safety & Security Requirements: 

• This position has the responsibility and authority to report to management any safety problems, and potential problems, encountered while performing the job 

• This position has the responsibility of the quality and safety of his/her own output and their co-worker 

X. Certifications / Licenses: 

•  Valid hyster/lift truck license
