Job Description

Operations Analyst will be responsible for collection, organization, interpretation, documentation, and analysis of insurance policy contracts or slips. The operations analyst will process data into system, ensure accuracy, create queries, and reports for various duties that can involve underwriting support, risk capture, or bordereaux management for Lloyds Syndicate policies.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Interpret data, analyze results, and process transactions in various systems in support of the following areas: 
    • Submission Clearance
    • Policy renewals
    • Sanctions checking
    • Other operations as needed on policy administration workstream
    • Prepare and issue documents and reports accurately, as per specifications 
    • Interact with local and onshore teams as required to complete deliverables 
    • Communicate issues or queries on a timely basis to ensure quick resolution 
    • Assist with troubleshooting and improving processes, as needed

Qualifications

Skills / Competencies

  • Strong verbal/written communication with fluency in the English language
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Detail and quality minded
  • Collaborative and team-oriented with ability to execute within an international team
  • Basic to Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
  • Flexible with changing requirements and ability to learn new processes quickly
  • Basic understanding of insurance knowledge, knowledge of London Market is desirable
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to learn new tasks quickly

Qualifications

  • Experience in insurance and operational services industry is desirable
  • Strong analytical and data processing skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite ( Word and Excel )
