PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:

An individual who performs various patient care activities based on age and functional status, and related non-professional services in the Operating Rooms.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Please list the fundamental job duties of the position (approx 3-5).
 Follows approved/established techniques and procedures related to asepsis, infection control and safety.
 Performs all duties and tasks of an Operating Room Nursing Assistant, including room setup, transportation of patients, equipment retrieval, and room turnover.
 Performs between-case clean up in assigned OR’s, including surface cleaning, floor cleaning, tables, etc.
 Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.

Job Description

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
High School Graduate
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATION:
Maintains all certification as required by the Department of Nursing, including basic cardiac life support.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of one-year experience in an acute care inpatient environment preferred.
