Operational Risk Manager

As part of the Enterprise Risk Management team, you will assist in operational risk management, risk committee reporting, incident reporting and analysis and outsourcing function in Prudential Assurance Company Singapore.

Job Description:

• Work closely with all departments to guide and exercise strong oversight on PACS risk and control registers, incident reporting, process gaps and controls analysis, and validation checks on user-developed financial modelling & applications
• Ensure efficient risk information gathering and transmission within PACS and with the Group Head Office
• Exercise adequate oversight on PACS’ third-party supply and outsourcing risk, in accordance with PACS’ internal framework, policies, and procedures (including review of risk assessments conducted by second line departments)
• Work with the business functions to conduct risk assessments on projects/ initiatives
• Prepare quarterly Board Risk Committee materials, bimonthly Risk Management Council materials, and follow-up actions
• Prepare other Board papers including risk updates and material internal incident reporting
• Promote awareness of operational risk management in PACS and support the maintenance of a healthy risk culture
• Support projects which may impact the Enterprise Risk Management function

Working Experience

• 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience would be preferred
• Prior risk and control experience, operational risk management, and outsourcing process knowledge, including risk and control assessment and management in a financial institution

Professional Qualifications

• Certification in risk management and/or information security would be advantageous

Education

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or other related discipline
