About this role

Job Description

Agilent Technologies’ Magnis Packaging Team is seeking a motivated individual to assist with day-to-day operations at our Cedar Creek, TX site. A strong manufacturing background, along with knowledge of 5S and continuous improvement practices, is ideal. This team member will support the Magnis Packaging team in various operational tasks across the department.

Key responsibilities will include general organization and housekeeping, verifying label accuracy, manually packing components into sub-kits and final kits, assisting with laser scribing machine operations, and other tasks as needed.

Join a dynamic, progressive team and bring your skills and experience to work in a fast-paced environment. As part of the Process/Production team, you will assist in setting up and operating fabrication processes and equipment, fabricating, assembling, and testing products.

Principal Duties:

  • Receive and process jobs from the warehouse

  • Wear proper safety equipment at all times

  • Seal containers, prepare, and affix product identification labels

  • Pack all jobs assigned to P&F accurately

  • Work with materials requiring different temperature conditions:

  • Room temperature:

  • o -20°C

  • o -80°C

  • o Dry ice

  • Maintain production records

  • Monitor product to ensure proper temperature control

  • Perform general housekeeping duties

  • Operate semi-automated labeling machines

  • Assemble kit boxes

  • Assist with liquid handling procedures

  • Maintain stock inventories

  • Apply basic math skills as needed

Note: This is a 2nd shift position. 3:15 PM - 11:45 AM M-F. Overtime may be required. Initial training may be during the day shift.

This is not a warehouse position.

Qualifications

  • Some higher education, specialized training/certification, or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be required.

  • Preferred: 1+ year of relevant experience with liquid handling automation.

  • Any manufacturing background is a plus.

  • Basic math and computer skills required.

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $22.42 - $35.04/hr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
