Orthopedic Cast Technician

About this role

Vancouver Clinic is hiring an Orthopedic Cast Technician to join our Orthopedics team at Salmon Creek 2. Under the direction of an orthopedic physician, you’ll provide hands-on patient care by applying, adjusting, and removing casts, splints, strappings, and traction; assisting with dressing changes and suture removal; obtaining X-rays; preparing exam rooms; maintaining clinical supplies; and teaching patients how to safely care for and use casts, braces, crutches, and canes. 

Location: Salmon Creek 2 (2529 NE 139th Street, Vancouver, WA 98686) 

 

Schedule: Training will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. After training, the schedule will transition to four 10-hour shifts, 7:00am to 5:30pm 

 

Hiring range generally between $24.02/hour to $28.79/hour and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience. 

 

Requirements:  

  • WA State Medical Assistant-Registered obtained within state required timeline and must be maintained in active status throughout employment. 

  • Casting experience and two years orthopedic experience preferred.

Pay Range:

$23.55 - $32.97
