About this role

Orthopedist / Orthopedic Surgeon Baltimore MD
Part Time 3-4 days per week | $200 to $250/ hr

Coverage: Catonsville, Glen Burnie & North Howard County

We are seeking a compassionate Orthopedist and/or Orthopedic Surgeon to join our growing medical practices with a practice opportunity available in the Greater Baltimore region. The ideal candidate is skilled in patient management, communicates effectively, and enjoys working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional patient care. We have 3 locations and the incoming provider will be providing coverage once a week at each location. Potential to add a 4th day for more hours if willing to commute to Elkton.

Our medical offices provide high-quality integrated healthcare services to patients suffering from neuro-musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain conditions. We offer a comprehensive range of office-based diagnostic, surgical, and rehabilitation services delivered by a team of experienced and compassionate healthcare professionals. Patients are medically managed from evaluation through treatment to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Job Duties
  • Perform initial medical evaluations and follow-up visits
  • Recommend and interpret diagnostic testing to determine extent of injury and appropriate treatment plans
  • Order diagnostic labs and imaging
  • Oversee patient diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Assist patients with return-to-work evaluations following injury or illness
  • Complete accurate and timely documentation
  • Refer patients to in-house therapies and specialists as appropriate
  • Collaborate with colleagues and staff to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Orthopedics/Orthopedic Surgery
  • Unrestricted Maryland medical license
  • Favorable malpractice history
Schedule
  • Part time 3-4 days per week
  • No call -No weekends
