As a Painter, your role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing the aesthetic appearance of the property. You will be responsible for executing painting tasks with precision, ensuring a visually appealing and well-maintained environment for guests and colleagues.
Key Job Responsibilities:
Perform various painting tasks, including surface preparation, priming, painting, and finishing, to maintain or enhance the appearance of interior and exterior surfaces.
Select and mix paints, ensuring color matching and consistency according to established standards.
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling cracks or holes to achieve a smooth and even finish.
Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment, considering the specific requirements of each surface.
Protect furniture, fixtures, and other items from paint or damage during the painting process.
Work with a variety of painting materials, including water-based and oil-based paints, varnishes, and specialty coatings.
Collaborate with other maintenance professionals to coordinate and execute painting projects as part of broader facility maintenance.
Inspect painted surfaces for quality and make necessary touch-ups or corrections to ensure a flawless finish.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment and ensuring the safe disposal of painting materials.
Maintain an organized inventory of painting supplies, tools, and equipment.
Collaborate with supervisors to plan and prioritize painting projects based on hotel needs.
Participate in training programs to stay updated on industry trends, safety protocols, and new painting techniques.
Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in alignment with organizational policies.
Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
