Responsibilities Supervision: Lead painting and coating crews, ensuring safe and efficient execution of surface preparation and coating activities. Work Planning: Organize daily tasks, allocate manpower, and ensure adherence to project schedules. Quality Control: Monitor coating application, thickness, and curing to meet project specifications and industry standards. Surface Preparation: Oversee blasting, cleaning, and priming activities prior to coating application. Documentation: Maintain records of paint usage, inspection reports, and quality assurance documentation. Safety Compliance: Enforce offshore HSE standards, PPE usage, and permit-to-work systems during painting operations. Requirements Requirements Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical/Industrial Coatings or equivalent. Minimum 5–7 years of offshore painting/coating supervision experience. Strong knowledge of protective coatings, surface preparation, and offshore corrosion control. Ability to read and interpret coating specifications, QA/QC procedures, and project drawings. Familiarity with ASTM, ISO, and NOC coating standards.
