Part Time Caregiver – Saratoga Springs, NY
A family in Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 seeking an experienced, attentive, and compassionate caregiver to provide companionship and mobility support for their loved one.
Schedule:
- Start Date: August 2026
- Duration: August through the 3rd week of October, will return May 2027 and run through October again
- Mondays & Saturdays (flexible)
- Approximately 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM or 10:30 AM – 3:30 PM
- Approximately 10 hours/week (occasional flexibility for longer shifts)
- The position will resume May 2027 through October each year, as the family spends the winter months in Florida.

- Home is fully equipped with medical grab bars
Responsibilities:
- Provide companionship and engage in conversation
- Assist with mobility using a walker and gait belt
- Support light exercises as directed by outpatient physical therapy
- Assist with toileting and transfers
- Supervise meals and provide dining support
- Maintain a calm, attentive, and engaging environment
Requirements:
- Previous caregiving experience required
- Experience assisting with mobility, transfers, and fall prevention required
- Comfortable providing hands-on assistance with toileting
- Patient, attentive, and dependable
Compensation:
- $23- $25 / hour
