About Aotearoa Infinite Academy
Aotearoa Infinite Academy is New Zealand's first tuition-free online high school, pioneering accessible, world-class education for students in Years 9-13 across all of Aotearoa. We combine international (Pearson Edexcel pre-IGCSE and IGCSE) and national (NCEA Levels 2 and 3) curricula with a flexible, virtual learning model that prioritises wellbeing, belonging, and personalised support.
Teach engaging Technology through live virtual classrooms to Years 9-12 students, delivering Pre-IGCSE, IGCSE, and NCEA Levels 2-3 curriculum. Work fully remotely from anywhere in New Zealand while building a supportive, connected learning community.
Deliver inspiring live online lessons
Design personalised learning experiences
Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment
Collaborate with a high-calibre team of innovative educators
Support student progress through differentiated instruction
Provide meaningful formative assessment, with quality feedback, feed-forward, and summative assessment, aligned to curriculum goals
Contribute positively to the functioning and growth of the curriculum team
Develop genuine partnerships with, and report to parents and caregivers to support learning
Essential:
NZ Teaching Registration
Teaching qualification and subject expertise
Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3)
Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology
Desirable:
IGCSE teaching experience
Online or blended learning experience
Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms
