Seeking an experienced, personable Part-Time Private Chef for a private family in Greenwich, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will prepare fresh, family-style meals for a household of 5 people, occasionally more. Italian cuisine is a family favorite. The chef should be flexible, reliable, and comfortable working in a private residence with a family whose schedule can vary.
Responsibilities:
Prepare family-style lunches and dinners approximately 2–3 days per week.
Prepare and/or set up breakfast items for the following day as needed.
Plan menus and meals based on the family's preferences and schedule.
Accommodate the family's preference for Italian and other approachable, family-style cuisine.
Safely manage the family’s nut allergy and maintain appropriate food-safety practices.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and cooking area.
Coordinate with household staff as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Comfortable preparing family-style meals and a variety of cuisines, particularly Italian.
Experienced working independently in a private home.
Reliable, discreet, and professional.
Flexible and able to adapt to changing family schedules.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Knowledge of food allergies and safe food-handling practices.
Schedule: 2-3 days per week
