We’re hiring! Malbon is looking for a Partnerships Associate to join our team. This person will report to our Head of Partnerships and help support day-to-day partnership initiatives while coordinating cross-functionally with both internal and external stakeholders. Ideal candidates have previous merchandising and partnership management experience at a high-growth company.

Location: Malbon HQ is based in Santa Monica, CA. We are currently operating from a hybrid work schedule of 3 days a week in-office. This role is not eligible for remote or relocation.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as day-to-day contact for all partners across collabs and sponsorships
  • Track timelines, milestones, approvals, and deliverables across internal and external partners for active collaborations
  • Maintain project management platforms to keep tasks, approvals, and deadlines accurate and up to date
  • Build and maintain GTM trackers, calendars, budget sheets, and marketing spend allocations for each collaboration project
  • Maintain a centralized deal-terms tracker capturing dual timelines, brand guidelines, distribution details, marketing obligations, and financial terms
  • Coordinate contract flow between legal counsel and internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate and attend all partner meetings, internal sessions, milestone check-ins, etc.
  • Prepare agendas, distribute notes, and track follow-ups on each project
  • Assist in creating pitch and GTM decks, recaps, and internal briefing materials
  • Support launch readiness by tracking marketing deliverables, product availability, and asset timelines
  • Create post-launch partnership recap decks, gathering data from cross-functional partners
  • Coordinate all partnership asset approvals, distribution, and organization
  • Facilitate all partnerships product seeding initiatives, including gathering sizing, shipping details, and preferences
  • Track outbound shipments and maintain communication with recipients to ensure delivery and engagement

What You’ll Bring

  • 3–5 years of experience in brand partnerships/marketing preferred with demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects independently in a cross-functional environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Proficiency with project management platforms (Monday.com, Notion, Airtable, or similar)
  • Confidence in building and maintaining trackers and workflows with minimal direction
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with external partners and internal stakeholders at all levels
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process management
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; experience with presentation design a plus!
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality around deal terms, contracts, and unreleased product information
  • Minimal travel may be required to support partnership activations, launch events, or partner meetings

Compensation

This is a full-time position with an expected salary range of $75K-$95K. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications.
