Purpose:
The Payroll Administrator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees, while also providing payroll enquiries and administrative support. This is a 6-month fixed term role suitable for someone looking to begin their career within the finance industry.
Key Responsibilities
Input and maintain accurate timesheet data.
Process payroll journals and ensure information is entered correctly.
Learn the weekly payroll process to provide cross-cover when required.
Check payroll data and highlight any discrepancies.
Maintain accurate employee payroll records.
Assist with payroll queries and general payroll administration.
Support payroll reconciliations and reporting.
Liaise with HR and Finance teams when required.
Handle payroll information confidentially.
Complete payroll tasks accurately and within agreed deadlines.
We are looking for someone who:
Has strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Is comfortable working with numbers and handling data accurately.
Has good Excel and general computer skills.
Can work to deadlines and manage their workload effectively.
Has a positive and reliable approach to work.
Is willing to learn and develop their payroll knowledge.
Can maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee information.
Works well as part of a team and is happy to provide support when required.
