Where You’ll Make a Difference

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing activities, including payroll data collection, validation, payroll calculation review, and timely payroll delivery.
  • Validate payroll inputs such as new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, bonuses, allowances, overtime, deductions, and social insurance data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with payroll vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain payroll calendars and ensure payroll activities are completed on schedule.
  • Support payroll accounting activities, including payroll booking, payroll reconciliations, and related finance support.
  • Administer payroll-related statutory requirements, including individual income tax (IIT), social insurance, housing fund, and RSU-related filings and payments.
  • Maintain payroll records and employee data within Workday and payroll systems while ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, social insurance, benefits deductions, and payslips, providing timely and professional support.
  • Prepare payroll reports, support audits and compliance reviews, participate in process improvement initiatives, and contribute to payroll-related projects and system enhancements.

What Makes You the Right Fit

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of payroll administration experience with strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processes. Solid knowledge of payroll taxation, individual income tax regulations, social insurance, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience working with payroll systems and HRIS platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems. Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data reconciliation, and reporting analysis.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and commitment to data quality.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage confidential information, work independently, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

How Would You Stand Out?

  • Experience working with outsourced payroll providers and supporting multinational or shared service environments.
  • Experience supporting multi-country, regional, or global payroll operations.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent payroll certification, with knowledge of cross-country payroll compliance and HR shared services operations.
