The Payroll & HR Operations Manager is an individual contributor role (not a people leader) that will involve driving operational excellence, continuous improvement and global initiatives across Payroll, Benefits and Time & Attendance processes within the Business Service Organization (BSO).
Core Responsibilities
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Payroll, Benefits and Time &Attendance processes by analyzing operational performance, identifying
opportunities and coordinating implementation of sustainable solutions.
Analyze available data, KPIs and operational insights to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities, partnering with relevant teams to support data-driven
decision making.
Coordinate and support selected global Employee Services processes, including recurring activities such as Annual Merit Increase and PMP Bonus Updates.
Lead cross-functional improvement projects by aligning stakeholders, tracking progress, managing dependencies and supporting successful implementation.
Act as a key collaboration point across Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, HR, Finance and Business Process Improvement teams, promoting an end-to-end
view of service delivery.
Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation and standardization, supporting adoption of new ways of working across teams and locations.
Challenge existing processes and practices to improve efficiency, quality, compliance and overall employee service delivery.
Provide structured updates, insights and recommendations to support leadership discussions and prioritization of improvement initiatives.
Support governance activities, internal controls and audit requirements related to Employee Services processes

This stand-alone role combines strong operational understanding, analytical capabilities and project management skills to identify improvement opportunities, support effective execution and drive sustainable enhancements across regional and global teams. Based in EMEA and reporting to the Director of Payroll, Benefits & Time & Attendance, this role supports regional operational excellence while contributing to global insights, improvement initiatives and selected global processes.
The role requires a strong ability to work cross-functionally, influence stakeholders without direct authority and connect operational details with an end-to-end view of Employee Services delivery.
Do you have what it takes?
Master’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent working experience.
5+ years of experience in Payroll, Benefits, Time & Attendance, HR Operations or related service delivery environments within a multinational organization.
Demonstrated experience in coordinating projects, improvement initiatives or operational transformation activities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends and translate insights into actions.
Experience working with international stakeholders across multiple countries or regions.
Understanding of operational processes, controls and compliance requirements.
Ability to influence and collaborate effectively without direct managerial authority.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Structured problem-solving approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a dynamic international environment.
Interest and curiosity towards automation, digital solutions and new ways of working
Experience with global Payroll providers or outsourced Payroll models.
Experience with SAP Payroll, ADP Celergo or Workday Payroll or similar service platforms.
Experience with UKG T&A System and Benefits Management.
Experience with Workday and Service Now.
Experience supporting global compensation cycles such as Merit Increase or Bonus
process.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI) and operational analytics.
Experience with Project management.
Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies
