PDL Prototype Machinist – The Toro Company
Schedule: Day Shift | Straight 8-hour Shift | Monday - Friday | Flexible Start Times | No Mandatory Overtime
Starting Pay: $40.00 – $43.72 per hour, based on experience.
(Opportunity to achieve PDL Prototype Machinist Journeyworker classification up to $51 per hour & credentials from the state of MN)

What Will You Do?
In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for the following:
Program, set up, and operate CNC mills, CNC lathes, and 3D printers.
Turn concepts, sketches, and blueprints into real prototype parts.
Design custom work holding fixtures using Gibbs CAM software.
Perform your own setups, inspections, and machine adjustments.
Troubleshoot machining challenges and help develop new products.
Maintain equipment and keep a safe, organized workspace.
What Do You Need?
To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of CNC Machining and Programming.
Positive, Can-Do Attitude.
Experience with CNC programming, manual machining, blueprint reading, work holding, and precision measuring tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Must be capable of using advanced mathematics, geometry, tables, and handbook formulas.
Preferred Qualifications:
Gibbs Cam experience.
CREO Cad software experience.
5 Axis Milling experience.
5 Axis Turning experience.
Associates degree in CNC machining or related vocation.
