Collaborate with healthcare providers and community partners to facilitate timely diagnosis, treatment, linkage to care, and adherence to evidence-based clinical protocols that improve maternal and infant health outcomes. Engage women of childbearing potential and individuals with HIV or sexually transmitted infection (STI) exposure to support testing, treatment, prevention, and risk-reduction efforts.

  • Provide partner services, contact tracing, and exposure notification while maintaining strict confidentiality and adherence to public health guidelines.
  • Coordinate and monitor timely initiation of antiretroviral therapy (ART) for HIV and appropriate treatment for syphilis, ensuring compliance with prenatal screening recommendations and evidence-based clinical protocols.
  • Facilitate linkage to prenatal care, HIV specialty care, and supportive services, while monitoring viral suppression and treatment adherence throughout pregnancy and the postpartum period.
  • Ensure timely evaluation, testing, treatment, and follow-up of exposed infants according to established guidelines.
  • Educate patients and families on disease transmission, medication adherence, infant feeding recommendations, and prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in surveillance systems, identify gaps in care, implement interventions to improve health outcomes, and participate in quality improvement, case review, and outbreak response activities.
  • Conduct field, home, and hospital-based visits as needed to support patient engagement, retention in care, and targeted interventions among high-risk populations.
