Phlebotomist - PRN

Welcome to Yoakum Community Hospital! We are seeking a full-time Phlebotomist to join our team. We are dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services with compassion to our community.

In this role, you will perform venipunctures and collect blood specimens for analysis, verifying patient records and identities for accuracy. You will also communicate with patients empathetically to alleviate concerns about the procedure.

We are looking for a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, proficient in collecting specimens from all age ranges. You will play a crucial role in supporting our team and delivering high-quality care.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy Certification
• Previous phlebotomy experience preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficiency in collecting specimens from all age ranges
• Ability to work on a PRN (as needed) basis
