About this role
We are looking for some PHP CodeIgniter Developer who is specialized in building dynamic web applications using the CodeIgniter framework, a PHP framework, requiring expertise in PHP programming, along with proficiency in database management, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and a deep understanding of CodeIgniter's core functionalities to design, develop, and maintain robust web applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Application Development: Design, develop, and implement web applications using the CodeIgniter framework, including features like user authentication, data management, and API integration.
- Backend Development: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented PHP code to handle server-side logic, database interactions, and application functionalities.
- Database Management: Create, maintain, and optimize database structures using MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Front-End Integration: Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend functionality with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Code Optimization: Identify and implement performance improvements to enhance application speed and scalability.
- API Development: Design and develop RESTful APIs for application integration with external services.
- Testing and Debugging: Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve bugs, ensuring application stability and quality.
- Maintenance and Support: Provide ongoing maintenance and support for deployed applications, addressing issues and implementing updates.
Required Skills:
- Strong PHP Programming: Extensive experience in PHP development, including object-oriented programming concepts.
- Database Skills: Proficient in SQL query writing and database management practices with MySQL or similar databases.
- Front-End Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for front-end integration
- Web Development Concepts: Understanding of web application architecture, RESTful APIs, and session management
- Version Control: Proficiency in using Git for code versioning and collaboration
