About this role

Make a meaningful impact providing holistic, community‑based physiotherapy that enhances mobility, restores movement, and supports independence across Rockhampton and Yeppoon.

Physiotherapist | Blue Care | Rockhampton/ Yeppoon Community

  • Employment Term: Permanent Full Time - Commencing June 2026

  • Location: Rockhampton/ Yeppoon Regions

  • Remuneration: $42.15 to $59.04 p/hr + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increases your take home pay) + Allowances & Travel Reimbursement (KM’s) + Employee discounts + 5 Weeks Annual Leave

Your part in our Blue Care team

You'll provide holistic, integrated care to our clients enhancing their mobility and movement to promote their independence and wellbeing. Working with a number of movement conditions associated with musculoskeletal impairments, medical conditions and chronic disease, you will tailor your care to make a real difference in your client's quality of life!

You'll have the opportunity to develop new treatment programs, helping clients to manage their movement, pain, balance and manual handling. This will include:

  • Diagnosing, assessing and developing care plans for individuals and groups

  • Prescription and selection of appropriate adaptive equipment and modification

  • Education and training on aspects of therapy for the clients and carers

  • Goal setting activities, as well discharge and resolution planning

  • Liaising with healthcare professionals, such as GPs, nurses and occupational therapists to ensure care plans are formulated and monitored

You'll be self-motivated and driven to incorporate contemporary theory in your day-to-day activities and make a real difference to the lives of our clients. You'll present with:

  • Tertiary Qualifications and current AHPRA registration

  • Previous experience within an Aged Care or Community setting

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build great relationships

  • Effective time-management and proven clinical problem-solving skills

  • Current Australian Drivers Licence and a road worthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance as required - Essential

  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies

  • Current CPR and First Aid

  • Own reliable vehicle with kilometre reimbursement where a fleet car is not available
