In order to support supply chain and quality management, Airbus is looking for a
In this role within our Supply Chain Management department, focusing on Cabin Equipment & Galley Catering, you will manage and monitor supplier groups to enforce compliance, conformance, and performance standards. You will act as the key operational interface to ensure on-time, on-quality, and cost-effective delivery of products and services, coordinating cross-functional teams to drive continuous supplier improvement, risk mitigation, and operational excellence.
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Contract & Performance Management: Manage supply chain and quality aspects of contracts, taking full operational responsibility for supplier On Time, On Quality, and On Cost (OQOT/OC) performance
Supplier Quality & Approval: Manage supplier quality approvals and ensure suppliers remain fully compliant with required certifications in close coordination with relevant stakeholders
Industrial Qualification & NPI: Monitor and support new product introductions (NPI), Transfer of Work (ToW), and design changes to guarantee industrial qualification maturity before serial production
Assessment, Risk & Development: Evaluate supplier capacity and capabilities, identify industrial risks, implement short-term recovery plans, and lead continuous performance improvement projects
Stakeholder Coordination: Serve as the central operational interface to suppliers, coordinating internal stakeholders and ensuring seamless alignment with Multi-Functional and Divisional Teams (MFT/MDT)
Tendering & Reporting: Assess suppliers during the tendering phase to inform selection decisions, and regularly report on operational supplier performance using standard management tools
Technical competencies
Quality Management: Strong knowledge of standard quality methods and tools
IT & Office Tools: Proficiency in standard productivity software (Microsoft / Google Workspace)
ERP Systems: Solid understanding and practical experience with generic ERP systems
Soft Skills:
Autonomous Execution: Independently coordinating complex tasks and teams
Stakeholder Management: Leading internal alignment and serving as the key contact for suppliers
Stress Resilience & Negotiation: Composed under pressure and highly skilled in negotiation
Nice to have: Knowledge of or previous experience with specific Airbus Tools
Language Proficiency:
English: Professional fluency required
