About this role

 

The Role

We are currently recruiting for two experienced Pipe Welders to join our Fabrication Shop team. We are looking for skilled tradespeople who are quality-focused, organized, and take pride in their work.

Please note: Both positions require specific, proven experience with Stainless Steel fabrication and welding.

Compensation/Benefits

  • Competitive wage with excellent hourly compensation
  • Overtime after 8 hours per day.
  • 6% vacation pay and  4% stat holiday pay on all regular hours.
  • Benefits after 90 days of employment (50% employer paid) - vision, health, dental, paramedicals, travel

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Fabricate and weld pressure piping, fittings, and vessels according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Maintain shop quality standards and adhere to all project deadlines.
  • Perform high-quality welding (GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, etc.) as required.
  • Collaborate with the Shop Foreman and fellow tradespeople to ensure a safe, efficient, and productive workspace.
  • Identify hazards and comply with company safety policies and legislative requirements.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Education/Skills/Experience

  • Journeyman B-Pressure Welder ticket.
  • Valid CWB qualifications (current and in good standing).
  • Proven experience with industrial fabrication.
  • For both positions: Demonstrated, extensive experience in Stainless Steel pipe welding is required.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings and isometrics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and layout skills.
  • Safety tickets: WHMIS 2015, First Aid, and valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
