Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Planner to join Hitachi Rail Portugal.
A Planner is responsible for:
- Support Project Managers in the planning, monitoring and control of project activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones and baseline plans using project management tools.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations and support the implementation of corrective actions.
- Prepare project performance reports, dashboards and management presentations.
- Support project forecasting activities, including workload planning, resource allocation and schedule updates.
- Monitor project KPIs and contribute to project performance improvement initiatives.
- Support the preparation and follow-up of project invoicing and contractual milestones.
- Coordinate project data collection and ensure consistency of project reporting information.
- Contribute to risk and opportunity management activities.
- Support governance activities, project reviews and management meetings.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Good knowledge of Project Management methodologies and principles.
- Experience in project scheduling, planning and project controls activities.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Project and/or Oracle Primavera P6.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
- Experience in project reporting, KPI monitoring and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of Power BI is considered an advantage.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in PMO, Project Controls, Project Planning or Project Coordination roles.
- Experience in railway, transportation, infrastructure or large-scale engineering projects is considered an advantage.
- IPMA Certification is considered an advantage.
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
