About this role

PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Responsible for the development, maintenance, and evolution of a UiPath-based global automation platform, including RPA and AI capabilities and supporting platform components. Ensure that development and operations teams are enabled to effectively utilize the platform in accordance with established best practices, architectural principles, and global standards.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain the automation platform architecture, primarily based on UiPath technologies.
  • Evaluate and support the adoption of new platform features and emerging technologies in the field of Intelligent Process Automation (IPA).
  • Collaborate with global development teams to identify platform enhancement opportunities and evolving business requirements.
  • Support software license management activities, including allocation tracking and vendor coordination.
  • Manage and maintain access controls and user permissions for the global IPA platform.
  • Contribute to the definition and implementation of development standards and automation design guidelines for process automation solutions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to global and local automation delivery teams regarding best practices, technical challenges, and operational topics.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to support platform-related initiatives and projects.
  • Participate in platform governance activities and contribute to continuous improvement of the automation ecosystem.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Limited travel approximately 10%.

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Advanced Degree is a plus.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in IT, software development, automation, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience working with RPA and/or Intelligent Process Automation solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of UiPath platform components, including Orchestrator, AI Center, Insights, Integration Services, and related technologies.
  • Good understanding of RPA development methodologies and best practices.
  • Solid technical understanding of IT infrastructure, data security concepts, and project management and collaboration tools (e.g., AWS, Dynatrace, CyberArk, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Jira).
  • Basic SAP knowledge.
  • Understanding of process automation and digital transformation concepts.
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.
  • Experience working in Agile project environments.
  • Strong interest in innovative automation and AI-driven technologies.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Structured, quality-focused, and results-oriented working style.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and adaptable mindset.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within global and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • German language skills are a plus.
