Role Overview
We are looking for a PMO Manager to establish strong project governance, improve delivery visibility, and ensure projects are executed within agreed timelines, scope, and budgets. The role will work closely with Project Managers, Delivery, Product, Engineering, and senior leadership to track progress, identify risks, and drive timely decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain project governance frameworks, processes, templates, and reporting standards.
- Track multiple projects across timelines, milestones, scope, budgets, dependencies, and resource allocation.
- Prepare and present project dashboards, MIS reports, portfolio updates, and executive summaries.
- Monitor project health using RAG status and proactively highlight risks, delays, and dependencies.
- Drive regular project reviews and ensure action items are assigned, tracked, and closed on time.
- Support project planning, prioritization, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
- Ensure adherence to delivery processes, SLAs, documentation standards, and governance requirements.
- Coordinate with Delivery, Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and other stakeholders.
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements to strengthen delivery efficiency and predictability.
- Maintain project documentation, including plans, trackers, risk registers, change requests, and decision logs.
- Support financial tracking, including project budgets, forecasts, revenue milestones, and cost variance.
- Provide leadership with accurate data and insights for prioritization and decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in PMO, project governance, program management, or delivery operations.
- Experience managing a portfolio of projects in a B2B SaaS, technology, fintech, or BFSI environment.
- Strong knowledge of project planning, risk management, resource planning, and governance.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical, reporting, stakeholder-management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum, or other relevant certification would be an advantage.
