We are looking for a Boarding Officer to join our company.
Your Main Responsibilities Will Include:
•    Attending and boarding vessels as needed, following company SOPs and customer requirements.
•    Coordinating all aspects of assigned port calls to ensure seamless operations.
•    Advising on contractor selection and obtaining competitive quotes for services provided to our principals.
•    Ensuring full compliance with Port Services procedures and accurate use of our operating system (WASP).
•    Using WASP as a mandatory reporting tool in line with SOP guidelines.
•    Monitoring vessel status and responding promptly to follow-up inquiries.
•    Verifying pre-funding is received or properly authorized before proceeding with port calls.
•    Maintaining up-to-date vessel files and real-time system updates.
•    Communicating proactively and professionally with all stakeholders.
•    Reporting business leads, opportunities, and relevant port updates to your manager.
•    Tracking and recording all expenses during port calls.
•    Managing Cash-in-Transit (Cash to Master) in accordance with WPS procedures.
•    Reviewing and approving supplier invoices with attention to detail and cost-efficiency.
•    Ensuring safe, compliant, and cost-effective vessel operations.
•    Following PPE standards and QHSSE procedures, including the use of TAKE 5 when required.
•    Contributing ideas to improve operational and cost efficiency in port calls.
What We’re Looking For – Qualifications & Skills
•    Solid maritime background and hands-on experience in Ships Agency Operations.
•    Strong communication skills and fluency in English (both written and spoken).
•    Good understanding of operational processes and systems.
•    Self-driven, results-oriented, and highly organized.
•    Proactive mindset with the ability to anticipate issues and implement preventive actions.
•    Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment in fast-paced situations.
•    Capable of planning and directing operations without compromising safety.
•    Familiarity with port regulations, local authorities, procedures, and tariffs.
