Powder Coating Technician

Description Information Role Summary We are seeking skilled Powder Coating Technicians with hands-on experience in powder coating application, surface preparation, equipment handling, and finishing quality inspection. The ideal candidates should have strong technical knowledge of coating processes, safety standards, and defect troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities Perform manual and automatic powder coating applications. Prepare surfaces through cleaning, masking, and sandblasting processes. Operate powder coating booths and curing ovens efficiently. Conduct coating quality inspections and thickness measurements. Identify and troubleshoot coating defects and equipment issues. Maintain coating equipment and ensure proper functioning. Follow workplace safety standards and finishing quality procedures. Required Skills Powder coating application techniques Surface preparation and finishing Spray booth and curing oven operations Thickness measurement and quality inspection Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance Knowledge of coating materials and safety standards Preferred Skills Experience in industrial manufacturing environments Knowledge of automated spray systems Ability to read technical instructions and SOPs Team collaboration and quality-focused approach Experience Requirements Minimum 2 years and maximum 4 years of relevant powder coating experience.
