The opportunity:
The Power BI Dashboard Specialist is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high quality Power BI dashboards and analytical solutions that support data driven decision making across Strategic Marketing, Sales Operations, and other business functions within Hitachi Energy. The role focuses on transforming complex enterprise data into clear, actionable insights while ensuring compliance with corporate data governance, security, and quality standards.
How you’ll make an impact:
Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive Power BI dashboards and reports aligned with business KPIs, ensuring clarity, performance, and usability for global stakeholder audiences.
Build and optimize robust data models using Power Query and DAX. Integrate data from multiple enterprise sources (e.g., ERP, CRM, Excel, SharePoint, SQL databases), ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
Partnering with stakeholders across Marketing, Sales Operations, Finance, and IT to gather requirements, trans-late business needs into analytical solutions, and challenge requirements constructively where needed.
Appling Hitachi Energy data governance principles, ensure proper documentation, version control, and compliance with data security, privacy, and access policies.
Continuously enhance dashboards based on user feedback, contribute to analytics best practices, and support user adoption through documentation, training material, or knowledge sharing.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
Proven experience in Power BI (Power BI Desktop and Service)
Strong expertise in DAX and Power Query.
Solid understanding of data modeling principles and KPI design.
Experience working with enterprise data sources (ERP, CRM, Excel, SharePoint, SQL)
Ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Structured, quality‑driven mindset with attention to detail.
Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
