Conduct Professional Employer Organization final audits and other large complex accounts.
Apply the NCCI and Texas Basic Manual Rules, Classifications, and Rates for Workers' Compensation on accounts.
Provide advanced premium audit expertise, technical assistance, and education to staff, management, policyholders, and agents.
Recommend, develop, and document premium audit procedures.
Notify Special Investigation Department of accounts that are suspected of fraudulent practices, including participating in premium fraud investigations, estimating premium losses, providing depositions, and expert testimony in litigation.
It is required that you:
Have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education, training, or experience.
Have at least four years of premium audit experience or equivalent education, training and experience.
Have extensive knowledge of underwriting principles, the TDI/NCCI basic manual of rules and Texas labor, and multistate workers' compensation auditing rules and regulations.
Can travel in state as needed to visit our policyholders.
It would be great to also have:
CPCU or Associate in Premium Audit designation
The base pay range is based on the market evaluation of the job and may include pay for multiple levels. Individual base pay within the range is determined by a variety of factors, including experience, performance, education, and demonstration of skills and competencies required for each role. Base Pay Range: $49.27 - $60.87 Per HourTexas Mutual’s flex-hybrid schedule allows you to bring your best self to work by working remotely and collaborating in the office based on business needs. All Texas Mutual employees are required to have Texas residency and travel to their designated office as needed.
