Primary Teacher

Affinity Partnerships are looking for enthusiastic and reliable Primary school teachers! We are looking for both experienced and ECT teachers who are looking for new teaching opportunities in Weston-Super-Mare.

We are seeking adaptable teachers who feel confident teaching across KS1 and KS2 and who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff. Whether you are looking for flexible day-to-day work or longer-term opportunities, we would love to hear from you, for roles starting as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering engaging lessons, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and supporting pupils of all abilities to reach their full potential. Strong classroom management skills and a flexible approach are essential.

The successful applicant:

• Qualified Teachers Status.
• Have a sound understanding of Primary Education.
• Have excellent literacy, Numeracy, and communication skills.
• Have confidence supporting the KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
• Have experience of supporting children in all aspects of the curriculum.
• Will be a team player, as well as using their initiative and good sense of humour.
• Have experience of working with children with a range of additional needs including Autism, Speech and language difficulties and other SEND students, both in smalls groups and 1:1.
• Have a positive approach and be flexible to the demands of the job.
