Mercy is currently seeking a PRN Pediatric Hospitalist Advanced Practitioner to join our practice in St. Louis, MO. This team consists of 8 physicians, 9 advanced practitioners and an engaged support staff focused on quality patient care. Pediatric, newborn, pediatric inpatient, NICU, or hospital-based experience is preferred.
- PRN position, shifts as needed
- Typical shifts are 10 hours (days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on department needs)
- Day shift hours are 0700-1700; Swing shift hours are 1300-2300
- Newborn nursery rounding and discharges (day shift)
- Pediatric inpatient admissions (ED and direct) and daily management of inpatient pediatric patients (swing shift)
- Newborn nursery H&Ps (swing shift)
- Collaboration with pediatric hospitalists, nursing staff, consultants, and ancillary services
- System-wide Epic EMR
- Malpractice insurance
