Process Planner - Aerospace Assembly

About this role

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and validate assembly and test instructions using eCATES.
  • Define and validate the tooling and test equipment required to assemble and test modules and engines according to P&WC quality and engineering standards.
  • Maintain Engine Center General Instructions (ECGI), which provide assemblers with guidance on standard work procedures.
  • Support CVIS programming and programming of the data plate machine (ROFFIN).
  • Support the implementation and programming of TMS (Torque Measuring System).
  • Participate in PFMEA/PFMEAS activities and RPN (Risk Priority Number) determination.
  • Ensure assembly and testing processes meet applicable quality, engineering, and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in assembling and testing modules and/or engines.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Mechanical Engineering Technician experience/education may also be considered.
  • Must be fluent in French.
  • Experience with assembly process planning is preferred.
  • Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
  • Due to project restrictions, candidates must be Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.
  • Must be willing and able to work onsite in Mirabel, Quebec.
