Owned by FOX Corporation, FOX News Media reaches 200 million people each month.“The Story with Martha MacCallum” is seeking a skilled, experienced and eager Producer to join the team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, a superb writer & excellent under pressure. As a Producer on The Story, you will be responsible for executing segment leads, writing live scripts during breaking news and conducting in-depth research. The Producer will serve as a backup to the Line Producer and Senior Producer, on occasion.

Pitch guests, stories, and segment ideas
Write guest intros, anchor questions, and teases
Select elements such as sound, video clips, and graphics to tell a story
Build accurate and constantly evolving research packets
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Professional experience in a live television control room
Strong and accurate writing
Line producing training
Thorough knowledge of current events and politics
Bachelor’s degree in journalism or a related field of study preferred, or equivalent experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $83,000.00-98,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
