Our Client:
Our client is an established electronics and consumer technology company with over 30 years of presence in the Latin American market, specializing in the import, export, and development of consumer electronics with a strong focus on audio products. They operate across the entire region and offer end-to-end solutions for private label brand development.
About the Role:
Our client is looking for an experienced Product Leader to lead their product development team and oversee the complete lifecycle of consumer electronics products. This person will be responsible for managing and developing a high-performing team, driving new product development from concept through production, and collaborating closely with manufacturing partners in China to ensure successful product launches.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge, proven leadership experience, and the ability to manage complex product development initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience directly leading and developing product teams, with proven people management responsibilities.
- Demonstrated experience leading the complete development of consumer electronics products from concept through manufacturing and launch.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a product-related field (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Production Engineering, or similar).
- Functional English with the ability to lead meetings, negotiate, and communicate technical requirements with manufacturing partners in China.
- Strong understanding of product development processes, supplier collaboration, and manufacturing environments.
- Nice to Have
- Experience managing product development projects, including timelines, external vendors, and cross-functional coordination.
- PMP, Scrum, or other Project Management certifications.
- Experience working with the EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) framework.
- Familiarity with similar operating systems such as Scaling Up or OKRs.
