About the Role
At Vilgain, great design is part of the product — not decoration applied at the end. We're building a new mobile app that will become the primary way customers interact with our brand, and we're continuously improving our e-shop to make purchasing as smooth and enjoyable as possible. As a UI/UX Designer, your main focus will be the mobile app, while also contributing to the e-shop experience and ensuring design consistency across both platforms. You'll work closely with the Head of Product CX and CEO, and your designs will ship to real users quickly.
What you will do (Responsibilities)
Own the e-shop and mobile app — lead their ongoing optimisation and development to make purchasing as simple and intuitive as possible.
Prioritise features and improvements based on customer needs, stakeholder input, and business impact — with a clear view of ROI, conversion, and margin.
Manage the product backlog and sprint planning — give the development team a clear, prioritised roadmap and keep delivery on track.
Act as the bridge between business requirements and technical solutions — collaborating daily with developers, the UX team, CPO, and CEO.
Analyse user behaviour and performance data using Clarity, Google Analytics, and BI team insights — and turn findings into concrete product improvements.
Define and track the right success metrics for each initiative, from experiment to rollout.
What we are looking for (Requirements)
Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in e-commerce — you know what conversion, ROI, margin, and churn mean, and how to move them.
Technical mindset — background in frontend development or UX design is a strong advantage.
Pragmatic approach to decision-making — you use data effectively but can also make confident calls based on experience and context when needed.
Ability to execute — you set priorities, protect deadlines, and make sure things actually get shipped.
Strong communication skills — you can align developers, stakeholders, and senior leadership around a shared direction.
Familiarity with tools like Clarity, Google Analytics, or equivalent product analytics platforms.
You know how Claude Code works and how to utilize it the best using graph engineering and automation.
