Product Owner Cybersecurity Testing

Our client is looking for a Product Owner Cybersecurity Testing to support the development and management of cybersecurity testing services within a large-scale digital transformation environment. The role focuses on strengthening application, infrastructure, and platform security through structured testing, vulnerability management, and secure development practices. Requirements · Define and manage cybersecurity testing services · Plan and coordinate penetration testing activities · Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing scope and strategy · Analyse and prioritise vulnerabilities and remediation actions · Coordinate external testing partners and validate deliverables · Support integration of security practices into SDLC · Work with tools such as SAST, DAST, and SCA · Contribute to ethical hacking initiatives · Ensure adherence to recognised cybersecurity standards Required Skills & Expertise Must Have: · Strong experience in cybersecurity and penetration testing · Experience in security processes and governance · Knowledge of recognised pentesting standards (OWASP, NIST, etc.) · Experience with SDLC security practices (SAST, DAST, SCA) · Strong knowledge of application and web security · Dutch language proficiency (C2 level) Should Have: · Experience in Product Owner or similar role · Knowledge of security frameworks (ISO27000, NIST, COBIT, etc.) · Relevant certifications (CISM, CISSP, CEH) · Knowledge of infrastructure and networks · Programming or scripting skills Nice to Have: · Experience in public sector environments · Experience setting up cybersecurity programs · Experience with vulnerability disclosure or bug bounty programs Soft Skills · Strong stakeholder management and communication skills · Analytical and structured mindset · Ability to bridge technical and business perspectives · Proactive and ownership-driven approach · Strong problem-solving capability
