We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Production Planning & Control Engineer in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain production plans and schedules. Monitor production performance and improve efficiency. Coordinate with production, procurement, engineering and quality teams. Ensure timely execution of production as per customer requirements. Maintain production MIS reports and performance dashboards. Analyze production bottlenecks, downtime and scrap, recommending corrective actions. Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen and 5S initiatives. Support inventory planning, MRP and project execution activities. Required Skills Production Planning – Prepare production schedules and work orders. MRP & Inventory Control – Ensure material availability and stock optimization. Lean Manufacturing – Implement Lean, Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives. MIS & Production Reporting – Prepare production dashboards and performance reports. Cross-functional Coordination – Work with production, procurement, engineering and quality teams.
