  1. Structural Design & Engineering
    • You’ll lead structural design and analysisfor rooftop solar systems, ground-mounted solar structures, and residential & commercial buildings.
    • You’ll develop and validate structural solutions including steel structures, ballast systems, and foundation design.
  2. Structural Analysis & Load Calculations
    • You’ll perform detailed load calculations including wind, seismic, dead, and live loads in accordance with US standards.
    • You’ll ensure structural integrity under varying environmental and site conditions.
  3. Design Review & Approval
    • You’ll review, validate, and approve structural calculations and engineering drawings for solar and building projects.
    • You’ll provide stamped engineering approvals ensuring compliance with all applicable codes.
  4. Code Compliance & Standards
    • You’ll ensure adherence to US buildingcodes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, and relevant state/local regulations.

    • You’ll validate designs against permitting and compliance requirements across jurisdictions.
  1. Documentation & Engineering Deliverables
    • You’ll prepareand review engineering drawings, calculation packages,and compliance documentation.
    • You’ll maintain high standards of accuracy and audit readiness in all submissions.
  2. Cross-functional Collaboration
    • You’ll work closely with design, project management, and execution teams to ensure seamless delivery.
    • You’ll coordinate with architects, developers, and contractors to resolve structural challenges.
  3. Risk Assessment & Structural Safety
    • You’ll identify structural risks and propose optimized, safe, and cost-effective design solutions.
    • You’ll ensure all designs meet safety, durability, and long-term performance standards.
  4. Permit & Regulatory Support
    • You’ll supportpermitting processes by providing technicalclarifications and stampeddocumentation.
    • You’ll engage with regulatory authorities to address design-related queries.


Essential Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) License – California (Mandatory)
  • Proven experience in Structural Engineering
  • Strong experience in solar (PV) structural design and buildingstructures (residential & commercial)
  • Proven expertise in load analysis,steel structures, and foundation design
  • Experience in preparing structural calculations, reviews,and stamping for US projects


Technical Skills:

  • Strong structural analysisand design capabilities
  • In-depth understanding of wind/seismic load analysis and ballast design
  • Familiarity with US codes: IBC, ASCE 7, IRC, NDS, AISI


Software Proficiency:

  • STAAD Pro
  • RISA
  • Enercalc
  • Reserve (or similar structural analysis tools)

Industry Experience Preferred:

  • Solar Energy (PV systems)
  • Structural consulting / steel structures

Key Competencies:
