Disclaimer:


Finastra has signed an agreement to sell its Universal Banking business to Pollen Street Capital, with completion expected end 2026 / early 2027, subject to consultation and customary closing conditions. Upon completion, this role is expected to transition to the standalone Universal Banking business, creating opportunities to support its future growth and success.

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to deliver complex banking transformation initiatives using Finastra’s cutting-edge core banking solutions.

In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate with leading financial institutions, manage SaaS, cloud, and on-prem implementations, and drive success in dynamic, multinational environments.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead full lifecycle implementation of core banking solutions 

  • Deliver complex banking transformation projects in the Angolan market 

  • Define project scope, timelines, and success metrics 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer engagements 

  • Coordinate internal teams, partners, and vendors 

  • Manage data migration, integration, and deployment activities 

  • Monitor project performance and provide clear progress reporting 

  • Identify and mitigate risks while ensuring compliance 

  • Support business development and contribute to proposals 

Essential Requirements 

  • Extensive experience in IT project and program management

  • Strong background in managing core banking implementations

  • Deep understanding of the financial services domain

  • Demonstrated success operating in high‑pressure, multinational environments

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with platforms such as Temenos, Oracle, or Finacle 

  • Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, or ITIL
