As a Program Manager, you will manage and maintain initiatives for the Department of Graduate Medical Education (GME), developing systems and procedures that support and enhance patient care within Cleveland Clinic. In this role, you will oversee three Akron-based fellowship programs at Cleveland Clinic Akron General: Breast Surgical Oncology, Advanced Emergency Ultrasound, and Surgical Critical Care. You will provide comprehensive management and oversight of educational activities, develop complex master rotation schedules, oversee the fellowship recruitment process, and create and maintain multiple dashboards to capture accreditation data required for ACGME reporting.
This position plays an integral role in managing fellowship program operations and educational activities while supporting accreditation requirements, recruitment, scheduling, and data reporting. You will gain extensive hands-on experience in Graduate Medical Education and contribute to the development and advancement of future healthcare professionals.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

Allocate time to meet completion requirements.
Serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the department.
Review and monitor adherence to Human Resources policies and corporate compliance procedures.

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field and two years of experience in project management, data analysis and systems training
OR Associate’s Degree and four years of experience
OR Master’s Degree and one year of experience
OR High School Diploma / GED and six years of experience
Knowledge of statistical and financial analysis, primary research and business plan development
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Experience in healthcare setting
Experience in Graduate Medical Education (GME) or Undergraduate Medical Education (UME)
Academic or healthcare education administration experience
Credentialing experience
Project management experience
Strong administrative or program coordination background
Teaching or education professional experience with strong organizational skills
Technical aptitude and ability to learn systems such as MedHub and accreditation platforms
Data and metrics tracking experience
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment
Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information
Ability to travel throughout the hospital system
